Hi everyone,
I am new here and have plenty of questions. I may decide to start a career in AME-Avionics. Does anyone know these 2 schools in Queensland? Aviation Australia (Brisbane)and Queensland Institude for Aviation Engineering (Caloundra). Both these schools offer the 2 year Diploma in Aeroskills- Avionics. I would essentially like to become a LAME. Do many companies hire students once they get this training? What is the average salary? How many years apprenticeship would I need? Do I get any credit for going to school full time for 2 years? BTW this is the only way I can do it as I am not Australian and need the 2 year pogram to get the work visa.
